Sir Arthur C. Clarke's 90th B'day

Sir Arthur C. Clarke's 90th Birthday was celebrated on 2007 December 16th in Colombo Sri Lanka. A small party for friends and well wishes was held at Clarke's residence in the morning. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Sri Lanka on the request of the presidential secretariat held an official function at the CBSL Auditorium in the evening. Russian Cosmonaut Alexi Leonov the First man to walk in Space was a special invitee and presented a medal from the Federation of Cosmonautics of Russia.
