This website is dedicated to the Memory of Sir Arthur C. Clake by Dr Kavan U. Ratnatunga.
I first met him in 1968 as Patron of the Ceylon Astronomical Society he that he had founded in 1960.
He inspired me in to Astrophysical Research. That was my joy for 26 years.
I am now into Numismatics and find that Arthur initiated Maritime Archaeology in Lanka with the discovery of Treasury in 1962.
